Houston Hits Lonetree

Dragonfire student, Cynthia Buendia, was in great form at the Lonetree Hunter Paces with her adorable partner, Houston. The pair raked in top ribbons all day while enjoying the green grass and fine weather. Thanks for doing DF proud, keep up the good work!

Better Late Than Never

And now for the big news from the April Ram Tap, even if it is a little on the late side. Tracy Felt took over the reins on her own horse, Infinite, to claim third in their first ever Training Level round together. Tracy had a great time piloting this talented character around the courses, and "Nate-the-Great" showed the adoring masses how much he enjoys his work. Nate is by our own Dragonfire Kirin and out of a race bred TB dam, a cross we duplicated with the winning young mare, Miss Jeanie C. We can't wait to see what both of these young stars accomplish with their talented owner/riders!

Hopelessly In Love

This yearling filly has it all! Dragonfire Hopeful (Dragonfire Kirin x Coulee Bend Anticipation) is a full sibling to both Dragonfire Lotus and Dragonfire Feng Shui, both very promising Three Day Eventers. Her blood is filled with World Champion performers and Sport Horse Champions. She has extraordinary rhythm, we have never seen a Morgan with such a beautiful hesitation in their stride. And if that weren't enough, she will bring high drama to her performances with tons of white and a white/blonde mane. To top it off, she is as easy going as they come and sweet as honey. She is truly a barn favorite here at Dragonfire. To watch her recent video click HERE.

Happy Birthday Caroline!

Caroline and Lucy in action

Later with their winnings

Caroline Dein has had a very wonderful birthday indeed! With her surprise new mount, Lucid Opposition, she made a sweep at the Leone A-Rated Hunter/Jumper Show with three wins in her Jumper classes. There's no question that Lucy and Caroline are fast becoming a super team, the only question is, are the Deins' looking to adopt a slightly aging (and only somewhat grumpy) horse trainer into the family? (My birthday is in October...) Dragonfire congratulates the Dein Family on this great new partnership... we can't wait to see what these two can do in the future!

Jennifer McFall Featured On The Cover

The May 2011 Cover of The Morgan Horse Magazine

A heart felt THANK YOU goes out to the clients of Dragonfire that sponsored the May cover of The Morgan Horse magazine.

It was such a wonderful surprise to find out that I was to be named into the Honor Roll for my involvement with Morgans in the sport of Three Day Eventing. Of course, so many others have been a driving force in my success. Such as my family for starting Dragonfire and breeding amazing athletes for me to compete with. Dragonfire Kublakhan himself, for having a heart the size of Texas and more brains than I could ever claim at that stage of my life. And my clients/friends that have believed in me every step of the way. Without any one of these, I know that I could not have stumbled on to the wonderful path that I travel today. I am blessed in every way, and believe me, I know it!

Jenny

CWD Sponsors Earl McFall

Earl and In A Dream have been turning some heads on the cross country course, including top saddle maker, CWD. Earl is thrilled to have CWD be his official saddle for competition for all three phases, since they are the most balanced and most comfortable saddles on the market. With Jenny already sponsored by CWD, it's a good thing that their color is also red as Dragonfire has officially become an all CWD barn!!

Flexing Her Morgan Might

Four year old Dragonfire Lotus (Dragonfire Kirin x Coulee Bend Anticipation) went to her first unrecognized Event and lead from start to finish, to win her division. Guided by Devyn Rau around the Camelot Equestrian Park course, Lotus was brave and full of style... gaining new fans for the Morgan breed. Honestly, is there anything cuter??? (Well, maybe her future debut with Taylor McFall will be cuter...)
