Cori Davis and A Golden Effort gave a spectacular performance across country at the inaugural Copper Meadows CIC** to ultimately claim victory in what would be their first FEI win. After a solid ride in Dressage, the pair were sitting third going into the second day's Stadium round. With just one rail down, they held their position going into Sunday's Cross Country phase. But with the time on cross country proving hard to make, Cori and "Ty's" fast and clear round catapulted them into the top slot.

Meanwhile, High Times and Jennifer McFall came back to competition after their Rolex completion in the Open Intermediate division. "Billy" was in top form and focused for a winning score in the Dressage, and maintained that lead with a double clear Show Jumping round. His convincingly clear cross country run sealed the deal and he won the division start to finish by over ten points.

Earl McFall and Tim Terrific are certainly ones to watch for the future as they had a beautiful showing in the CIC*. These two can really dominate a cross country course, and their double clear trip around Copper Meadows earned them a fourth place in their first FEI performance.
